Preslaysa (nee, Preslaysa Edwards) has been acting professionally since she was nine years old. As a child actor, her stage names were Preslaysa Edwards and Presley Edwards.
She pounded the Manhattan pavement and auditioning for film, TV, theater, commercials, and print modeling. She co-starred in the role of Cindi on Nickelodeon’s The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, Off-Broadway, and regional theater. At the age of sixteen, Preslaysa proudly earned her membership in SAG-AFTRA, the professional actor’s union.
She’s had the pleasure of working with notable names in entertainment including, Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games trilogy, Alan Goodman, co-developer of the MTV logo and an Emmy-nominated writer/producer, and the late Horton Foote, Oscar award-winning screenwriter for the film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird and playwright.
Most recently, Preslaysa has appeared on NBC’s award-winning show THIS IS US and on Showtime’s HOMELAND. She’s also appeared on the film, LAST MOMENT OF CLARITY, which released in 2020.
