In order to navigate racism, Black womxn have to constantly reinvent themselves. It’s not something we desire to do, because there’s a lot of labor and tears in the process. It’s something we must do.
But with each iteration of our self, we grow stronger and more beautiful. We become rare diamonds that can’t be duplicated. We grow closer to matching our Higher Self.
Until we arrive at that soft place where we no longer labor, that place where we’re loved for simply being, just being.
