“As you become clearer about who you are, you’ll be able to decide what’s best for you – the first time around.”–Oprah Winfrey
Sometimes I feel as if I operate in fits and starts. I think I’m going along a good path, and then I discover that (oops!) I’m on the wrong path. That’s not for me and definitely is NOT ME. It’s time to go in another direction.
As I become clearer about who I am, I’m shedding a lot of things that just don’t fit. At first, the process is scary because letting go involves courage and risk. In the end, it saves me a lot of emotional baggage.
As I become clearer about who I am, I’m learning to not be afraid of the empty space that comes after letting go. I’m comfortable with the open space between the person I was, and the person I’m becoming.
In that space, I find my unique freedom, my unique power, my unique, colorful self.
