I have recently updated and revised “Visionating” by adding over thirty pages of new content to help you create a life plan. This new version will be available for sale later this year/early next year. I will provide an exact date as the cover design project for “Visionating” progresses.

This week you will still be able to receive the current version for FREE by signing up at the form on your right. After this week, “Visionating” will be under wraps until later when it’ll be available with NEW content to help get you on track. We will also start another “Visionating Challenge” when it releases to assist you as you read the book.

And if you find that you miss the chance to get the current version of “Visionating” for free, don’t worry, I plan to add a new, free report entitled “MOM: Moms On  Missions” in its place. This report will get you thinking about your unique calling as a mother in the 21st century.

I don’t have anything particularly inspiring to say today as I’ve allocated about 80% of my brain cells to some creative brainstorming for my work in progress.

The other 20% is allocated to stuff around the house: cleaning, changing diapers, etc.

But…I’ll come up for air soon!

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

I’m taking a blogging break today and will resume blogging this Wednesday. See you then!!

Motherhood has a very humanizing effect. Everything gets reduced to its essentials. (Meryl Streep)

This quote is my mantra right now: reduce to the essentials, reduce to the essentials, reduce to the essentials! There are many things I can do but there are only a few important things to do. So, I’m committing to gaining a laser like focus to the essentials:

1) God

2) Marriage

3) Children

4) Writing

For me that means going underground: cutting back on Facebook, checking emails, idle chatter, idle thoughts. You know, the clamor of life. In order to excel at the important, I’m cutting back on the unimportant.

What effect has motherhood had on you?

This Wednesday, I’m taking a break from our regularly scheduled ‘Word Wednesday’ posts because we’re celebrating two birthdays today: my father and my son. They share the same birthday! How cool is that?

For my son’s first birthday, I’ve decided to have a simple celebration with family. I’m not ready to go all out just yet. I’ll save that for when he’s older.

It’s amazing to see how a year of motherhood has passed so quickly. A friend of mine said that with parenthood “the days are long but the years go by quick” So true!
