We’re heading into November and I thought I’d get a jumpstart on Thanksgiving and share a couple of things I’m thankful for.
- I’m thankful for DH. Whenever I’ve felt overwhelmed by a massive editing/revision project, he’s taken the children away for a couple of hours or whole weekends so I could buckle down and get my edits done. He also has a keen wisdom about my personal writing journey and I’ve treasured every bit of his advice.
- I’m thankful for the 3 year old boy and the 18 month old girl who call me Mom.
- I’m thankful for God’s provision in our lives these past five years since hubby and I decided that I wouldn’t work full time outside the home. (Although, I do work like a mad woman inside the home! No bon-bons and soap operas for me.)
- I’m thankful for my friends who get me and all my quirks and hang ups.
- I’m thankful for these wonderful IMSE VIMSE cloth diaper paper liners that contain the #2’s whenever the 18 month old has to poop.
- I’m thankful for writing mentors who have spoken encouragement and faith to me during all the steps of my journey.
- I’m thankful for hot chocolate. (I’m a chocoholic and hot chocolate is perfect for this season.)
