I have emerged from all of my major deadlines for A Lowcountry Bride, and now I’m back to my regularly scheduled blogging routine. For the second half of October, I am setting some tiny goals to give me the nudge that I need on my projects. I am also listing them here for accountability. In November, I’ll report back on how I did.
So let’s go!
Writing
- Lightly revise the first three scenes of my WIP.
- Draft 6,000 new words on my WIP.
- Re-read the first 50 pages of another novel and write a summary of each scene.
- Create a short write up my ideal reader and analyze current marketing efforts. Put this information in a marketing document.
Health
- Find my FitBit. (I keep misplacing it!)
- Take a long walk outside at least five days a week.
- Take my cholesterol supplements.
- Floss daily. (My dentist admonished me!)
- Drink at least 16 ounces of water a day. (I’m starting small.)
Other
- Read 5 pages of a novel a day.
- Write and schedule my social media posts at least a week in advance.
- Go through two weeks of grammar work with my son using a new textbook.
- Go through two weeks of math work with my son using the new textbook.
- Vision therapy with my daughter 5-6 days a week.
